Patient Portal — Request an appointment / Message your care team
Use your Patient Portal for a variety of health care options:
- Request an eVisit with your provider
- Send a secure message to your provider
- Receive your test results
- Schedule appointments and print your patient appointment guide
Adult patients at Mayo Clinic can request caregiver access accounts. These accounts allow them to view medical records of Mayo Clinic patients including their children and others for whom they manage care.
Additionally, Mayo Clinic patients 13 years and older need to create their own Patient Portal account.
You can learn more about the accounts and how to request access by viewing the Creating Caregiver Access and Minor Accounts flyer.

Prescription Renewal / Refill Requests
You can request a refill from a Mayo Clinic Pharmacy by logging on to your Patient Portal and selecting “Refill a Prescription.”
If you filled your prescription at another pharmacy, you’ll need to make the request to that pharmacy directly. If your pharmacy needs more information or a renewal from your provider, they will contact us directly to complete the refill process. Please allow at least 7 to 10 days to receive your prescription. Learn more about Mayo Clinic Pharmacies.
