Renovation transforms Baldwin Building
If you haven't been to Employee and Community Health's (ECH) Baldwin Building clinic for a while, you just may not recognize it. For the past six months, the Baldwin building has been undergoing extensive renovations. With the completion of the Integrated Community Specialties (ICS) corridor and one of three new conference rooms, the first floor looks nothing like it did before!
Construction has just about wrapped up on the new pharmacy, which opened March 26. The Orthopedics and Podiatry practices began seeing patients on Baldwin first floor on April 2. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) will begin seeing patients in July, working collaboratively with ECH and Orthopedic providers. PM&R's new area includes a gym for patient treatment visits.
In addition, new spaces for three care teams, the medical secretaries and a replacement storage room have been completed on the second floor.
The final phase of construction is underway on Baldwin 1, which will include an expanded lobby and waiting area.
Thank you to all Baldwin patients, families and staff for your support and patience throughout the construction!
